Re: [A/S] Cold weather camping

In my 1963 Overlander that I use at hunting camp, I have found that only the
most expensive parts freeze up and break. They are the Moen single knob
shower valve, and the Sealand toilet flush valve.

I have replaced this toilet valve at $50 a pop at least 3 times. The last
time it froze and broke, I got rid of the valve and rigged a ball valve
mounted in the closet with the handle sticking out. To flush, just push the
handle down for as long as necessary.

I got rid of the whole Moen fixture and replaced it with a two valve
inexpensive shower unit.

Problem solved.
