Hi Terry,

The furnace will keep the pipes from freezing because they run along inside 
the belly where the pipes are. I have been in 7 degree weather and not had 
any pipes freeze. Usually an overnight freeze won't do it anyway.... it takes 
a day or two of below freezing before you get into trouble.  Anyway, just run 
the furnace and the pipes will be fine.

I would also run the water heater.
