sigh

sounds like I will be playing the game of switch the wires too.
Hoever, 
it is now set up to run perfectly so all I SHOULD have to do is to pull the
round pin male off the trailer front and just replace each wire in succession
around the back of the new plug.  errr, WHEN did they change the wiring
assignments??  was back in the 80s wasn't it??
or did they make changes with the adoption of these flat pin plugs???
