Hi Don,

You mentioned a specification that  is seldom mentioned about the Hensley
hitch in that it allow the trailer to follow a wider turn with respect to
the tow vehicle.  I religiously watch the  curb side tires with relation to
the curb, but the Hensley always proves that it  runs wide of the curb.
Also, the added near foot extension really means a lot for Airstreamers
towing with a van.  I had to remove my spare tire prior to using the
Hensley.  True, I could have purchased an extension draw bar and   solved
the delimna.  However, the van was a quesitonable tow vehicle as the
Drawtite with friction cam  equalizer bars allowed considerable sway when
the 18 wheelers passed me when I was traveling at 55 mph.

With the Hensley, I don't notice much pressure wave sway.  Not that it might
not have had any effect with my present F250 tow vehicle.  As a newbee to
towing and realizing that friends have died while towing without the
Hensley, I opted to take the safest route.  Try to reduce my odds of an
accident to near "0" percent.

I trust my Hensley 100 percent and would regardless of the tow Airstream.

Might tow with a Reese or other mark for an emergency, but it's the Hensley
for me at my age!
