Jim,

Everyone's trailer has excellent road manners until something happens that 
causes it not to have excellent road manners!  It may never happen, it 
probably won't ever..... if it was that common we would see the freeways 
littered with upside down trailers.

Those of us who have chosen to pop for the big bucks and get the Hensley are 
the ones who don't want to take the chance that that will ever happen. We 
don't want to have the thrill of the trailer swinging from side to side 
behind us... taking up all three lanes.  You can't really equate your 
experiences, towing a smaller lighter vintage trailer, to those who have the 
34' 9800 pound triaxle behemoths.

That said, I'm thinking this Hensley discussion is taking up a bit more of 
the Airstream list than it needs to.  I'm guessing less than 1/10th of the 
listies have one... as there is a Hensley list I'm wondering if the 
discussion of how to set it up should be over there.

The reasons for having one, or not having one belongs here... but maybe not 
all the technical stuff....
