[A/S] Argosy / Airstream

For those who would like to know the actual differences between and 
Airstream and Argosy I can tell you the major ones.  (72-79)

1) Front and rear upper cap sections are Galvanized steel on the 
Argosy and are one piece.  Nothing wrong with that actually better 
from a structural perspective but darn hard to polish.

2) 10" Brakes vs 12" on the Airstream 

3) 30 Gallon fresh water tank under the lounge vs the 50 gallon under 
floor airstream tank

4) Wrap around windows 

5) No monitor panel untill 1979

6) Slightly different layouts

7) 3 cushon sofa's as opposed to the high back one piece lounges in 
the 76 and newer Airstreams

8) The interiors did not have as many trim pieces and were a bit 
planer, appliances A/C, Water pump etc were the smaller less 
expensive versions.  Most of which have been replaced by now.

9) Ofcoarse the rapidly fading beige paint. We repaint them silver 
and put on a blue stripe.

10) All in all a great trailer.
