Charlie, that makes it sound like a design flaw. Why would it actuate that
often to eat the brake shoes? I'm in my third Airstream since the mid-70s
and I've never had those kinds of sway problems. Sometimes I feel a push
when being passed by a 18 wheeler but adjusting for that has become
automatic. Maybe with the auto side to side braking system the 18 wheeler
push would activate the brakes but it sure wouldn't seem necessary to do so
to me.
