Re: [A/S] '74 Argosy tire problems. . .

Hi Tuna,

Don't know if they are Henchen axles or not. The service manual calls them
Dura Torque Axle in both the '72 service manual and the owners manual for
the Argosy.

There isn't room for airbag lifts. :) The rubber torsion assembly seems to
be inside the square fixed cross frame member with the axle/tire off center
to form the lever. The shock absorbers shouldn't have anything to do with
the at rest position. The manual only talks about tow in, camber, wheel
run-out, and the problems created with running under inflated tires (my old
tires exemplify low pressure running.) The trailer also exemplifies long
time running with out of balance tires! Hmmm, "Long Train Running" -
Without love . . .

                                                  Regards, '74 Argosy, Joy
