the l/r wall mounted thermostat for the Armstrong a/c on my '77 appears to be 
broken.. you have to wiggle the switch between off and cool to get the 
compressor to kick on. Has anyone replaced this? will a regular Honeywell 
heat/cool thermostat work or is it something special?
