My H&H jack on my SOB about 4 years ago had a plastic cap on top.  If 
the power was out you just inserted the crank.  No resync necessary, 
pretty clean.  I'm not sure why the H&H Super Jack on the newer A/S 
isn't the same, unless its a load factor which prohibits this type of 
assembly.  Would make the world a lot nicer.  That cap cracked on 
that old H&H also.  Pretty heavy UV on that.  Messes up plastic 
pretty quickly.
