Re: [A/S] 2002 Safari Question - URGENT

Just an addition since I was out of town. I don't
remember seeing any major changes on the 2002 so I
think this applies.

The 2001 Safari has it's fresh water hookup just
behind the rear bumper assembly on the street side of
the trailer. There is also a drain valve for the
water system that is inside the rear streetside
compartment. If that valve inside the compartment is
open and you hookup and turn on your city water, you
will get a torrent pouring out on the street from
underneath the trailer. It sounds a lot like that
valve was open. I am not aware of A/S putting any
clean out valves on the Safari grey or black water
tanks such as those found on the Classic or Excella
line.

There are also two other valves on the curb side
between the tandem axles which can be used to drain
the system. Those turned on will also start the water
flowing on the ground but not like the streetside
valve.
