[A/S] Help - Gray Water Valve

OK Now I have a question for Charlie Burke, Andy at Can Am RV or some other
knowledgeable Airstream listee:

The Gray Water valve on my 1977 Safari twin beds, rear bath, will not close
completely this summer. I can push the handle in, but it will not go in all
the way so I can close the straps around the handle on the gray water valve
handle.

Since the valve will not close completely I cannot completely close the
valve and my gray water is leaking out.

What do I have to do to get to the gray water valve?

I'm not sure where to begin since I cannot see the valve and have never had
this problem before.

Any suggestions you can send my way would be greatly appreciated.  I thank
you in advance for your help to my question.
