Re: [A/S] Cataletic Heaters

Dave
I have been using my catalytic heater for 2 years (winters) in NY State and
have had no problems. I do keep a window open at the bottom, about the
width of a yellow pencil. Also, have not had a problem with condensation
and do not experience the hot/cold cycles of a regular furnace. I would
suggest a propane sensor, in case of a propane leak in the trailer.

This is a reply I got from the manufacturer of the catalytic furnace
regarding its use,

" In a nutshell, the byproducts of combustion from catalytic heaters are one
tenth of 1% each, water vapor and carbon dioxide. The remaining 99.99% is
pure low intensity infra-red heat.....Regards, Arthur Mindle.........U. S.
Catalytic Corporation."

I hope this answers your question.
