I replumbed my 66 Ambassador with Pex piping and the crimp rings.  I rented
the crimping device from a tool rental place for $10 for the weekend.  There
was one spot near the toilet where it was hard to get the device in, but I
managed.  No leaks and its works great.  One thing I like about the Pex is
that it is available in red and blue, so you always know whether your
dealing with a hot or cold water line down the road.
