Patti,  Glad to hear your trip home with the new A/S went OK.

Here's a little tip that may help unhitching with a Hensley:

WITHOUT the trailer hitched to the puller, measure from the ground to the
bottom of the receiver opening.  What you're doing is finding the unloaded
height of the receiver hitch.  Cut a "measuring stick" exactly this
length.....right down to the 1/8th inch.

Now, when unhitching, use the tongue jack to raise the rear end of the
puller until that measuring stick just slips under the bottom of the tow bar
where it enters the receiver..  At this point, there is no weight on the
puller or hensley.  Release the over-center clamps and pull away.  Works
every time.
