[A/S] Uh-Ohh, Charger Problems?

Hi Steamers,

I need help. I checked my batteries today, they are less than a year old.
The street side battery had two empty cells, no acid at all. The others
were low, but not empty. The curb side battery seemed ok, albeit low
voltage of 11.8 VDC. I replaced the street side with a known good battery
and have had the trailer hooked to 110VAC all day. The charging voltage on
the stree side had remained at 13.8VDC all day while the curb side is still
at 11.8VDC. I fear a problem, that is the charger working on the street
side only, and not reducing voltage as the battery becomes fully charged,
and evaporating acid, while the curb side is not being charged.

Am I in trouble????
