Ed & Lane,
I guess I missed the original post - apparently Geico paid only $10K on a 
$25K loss?  What a bummer!  Now I'm going to be more aggravated every time I 
see one of their commercials.

While on the insurance subject - just hope that if anyone runs into your 
vehicle that they are not covered by AAA. A woman ran into our two parked 
vehicles in front of our house.  She hit the back corner of our van then her 
car contd up alongside the van and tried to make a sandwich bet. it and our 
car.  AAA paid for the car damage but claimed the van was 'totaled'. Wasn't 
totaled to look at but it doesn't take much body work to cost more than what 
an older vehicle is 'worth'. After much grief AAA finally paid more than they 
first wanted to but we definitely lost money because we had had recent 
repairs and new tires, etc.
