Another factor to consider, beyond the very important issue of tail droop
already explained, is the bed length you require.

Rear bath center bedroom models normally have a bed length of 76"
established by partition walls at head and foot.  This sounds adequate for
everyone but basketball players but unless you sleep without a pillow, a
person who is 6' or more tall ends up with feet jammed against the wall at
the foot of the bed when lying on his back.  My first A/S was a very nice
used '83 31' Excella with rear bath, center bedroom.  We only owned it for
one year.  The bunks were adequate if I only slept on my side, but I found
them uncomfortable at 6' 1" tall.  Rear bedroom models have beds the same
length but a taller person can slide the mattress out away from the wall a
couple of inches to provide additional space.

Personally, I don't find the tiny bathrooms uncomfortable.  They are very
well designed and completely comfortable for their intended use.  Given a
choice, I also prefer the additional space to be in the bedroom and/or
living area.
