Arnie. Stay with the major brands and you will be ok.
Be sure to use a "regulator" and make sure the
installation is best for your trailer. Batteries cook
when using a larger solar panel or panels, unless you
use a regulator. A single panel can be in the center
of the roof. Two panels should be side by side on the
roof for maximum generation, assuming the coach is 90
degrees to the sun movement. In that way the average
output of each panel is maximized, without having a
one time peak. Granted, each side by side panel will
at any one period of time, put out less, but the total
for the day will be greater, because of the longer,
direct sun exposure. There is a considerable
difference in the output of a solar panel, depending
on the angle of the sun hitting it.   Max
