[A/S] 2002 Ford Fast Warm Up Valve - Light Truck Diesel Engine Exhaust Brakes

That explains the questions and comments concerning new Ford PSDs.  I was
not aware that the feature was included on '02 Ford PSDs.  Since virtually
everything is now regulated by engine control computers it would require
only a simple wiring change to allow the driver to operate the "warm up
valve."  I wonder if the valve is sufficiently large relative to the housing
and exhaust manifold to block enough exhaust and create sufficient back
pressure to be effective as an exhaust brake as well as serving as a warm up
device?
