My Safari is resting comfortably in my shop.

Last week I worked on replacing all the plumbing in the bottom of the
wardrobe closet of my '84 A/S, part of which froze and broke on a 9 degree
night in Flagstaff, AZ just before Christmas.  Another portion had been
replaced with water hose before I bought it.  Saturday we washed and cleaned
the interior of my truck (post 3500 mile journey), Melissa's Jeep, and my
wife's car.

Sunday, I began pulling the engine and transmission from an '85 Chevrolet
Caprice sedan I bought a year or so ago as a donor car for a '56 Chevy sedan
I am upgrading.  The '56 sedan will get a new modern 350 c.i. small block
V8, TH700R4 overdrive automatic transmission, power disc brakes, alternator,
halogen lights, etc.

Yesterday I got a phone call before 8:00 a.m. from a tenant who had just
returned from a three week absence to find a wet carpet in the bathroom.
Probably due to turning off the heat before leaving and causing a plumbing
line under a sink to freeze and break.  (If that was the cause the tenant
will get a bill)  Melissa and I spent the morning removing the carpet and
pad and repairing the leak.

Today I will complete removing the engine and transmission from the donor
car.

I have a long list of minor repairs to do on another house.

I just finished completely reroofing two houses.  I have one more rental
property I plan to reroof.  I then plan to tear off the roof on my home
which currently has cedar shingles.  It is over 2400 sq. ft. heated and
cooled plus two car garage, porches, etc., steep-pitched, and has multiple
complicated roof angles, valleys, and hips.

My days are busy.
