I don't believe that marine plywood would make much difference in the 
floor rot. I may be wrong but the difference between marine plywood 
and exterior plywood in not so much the glue but the number of 
defects and voids in the ply's. You don't see any of the oval shaped 
patches in the marine. Having rebuilt several boats I have seen a lot 
of rotted and water logged marine plywood. I did coat my floor with 
Thompson Water Seal and a good coat of deck paint during the rebuild.

Of course having looked at a lot of New SOB units before buying my 
Vintage AS I can say particle board is the standard. Maybe it was 
Marine Particle Board. 

I did dream about brake drums last night. I have seen several ways of 
balancing them adding metal strips and drilling holes. I have seen 
rotors for disk brakes balanced by drilling holes in the edge. I also 
find it strange that AS dose not use balanced drums.

All statements are meant to be taken with a smile and a grin as I 
believe I am right a 100 % of the time but I am told I am about only 
50% accurate.
