I would like to add my question to this one; what if one replaces the carpet 
with wood.... when it comes time to remove and replace the refer
will there be a clearance problem ?????? Will the refer slide out over the 
wood? I'm considering using oak parquet and installing it like a
pergo floor ("float it") with a removable section in front of the
refer it service it when the time comes.... Steve
