Re: [A/S] Help with wood flooring

I have used, as have two of my acquaintences, wood parquet floor
covering. These products usually come in 1ft x 2ft sheets and can be
glued to the floor, same as in a residence. In my case I selected
material with 4" sq. blocks of 1"x4" pieces which are lightly glued to a
paper backing to form the 1x2' sheets but with glue tabs on the
sheets. I simply stuck them on the floor. My acquaintences glued
theirs down with mastic. All of us have had good luck with them. The
parquet pieces are solid wood. Do not worry so much about water ruining
your floor as any floor covering can be ruined if enough water hits it
but what are the odds of this happening. I used a walnut colored
material and friends used a light, blond finished material. If I was to
do it again I would use the light colored wood as it does not show the
dust and dirt was badly as the darker finish.
