Tom is correct about this, however it will apply only to those taxing 
jurisdictions that levy "personal property tax" since travel trailers 
are not real estate. In Dallas County the City of Dallas levies a 
personal property tax on autos and such, but not the county or any of 
the suburbs (to my knowledge). I think this will only be a big city 
thing, but that's just my $.02. I store my Excella in Johnson county. 
If Dallas county started taxing trailers registered here, I think 
I would change the registration address to the site where it is 
stored.
