[A/S] Property tax on travel trailers

The Commonwealth of Virginia taxes all non-permanent wheeled homes as
personal property - motorhomes, single, double wides, etc.  Only fortunate
thing is that the value drops appreciably each year to a minimum.  My '69
Safari is taxed at $25 a  year.  Real estate is taxed at a far different
rate and my $130K home plus $5K lot is taxed at $475 a year.  Sort of works
out that the Safari is taxed less than the fixed real estate.  Not much
misses taxation in this state.  Guess they haven't got around to taxing cats
yet! :)
