I just checked with my State Farm Ins. lady and was told that Hunter is
correct - that just as with a car or truck that is totaled out in a
wreck, they only compensate you the current market value, not
replacement. She then asked me if I was going to move to Florida!!
Said such insurance isn't sold in Texas!! Bummer.
