Speaking of Texas... this might be of interest.  When I started fulltiming 
again I had a choice of whether to make Texas my "home state" again or 
Florida.  What put me over to Florida was the Texas insurance laws.

Apparently, if I am registered in Texas and I total my trailer the insurance 
company will only pay me its value.

Now, my insurance is a little pricier in Florida...but..... with the same 
insurance company, if I total my trailer they will pay me what I paid for 
it... no matter how long I own it. As I plan to own it forever I thought that 
was a much better deal.

Something to think about if you are planning to fulltime and can choose your 
"home state"
