I doubt Airstream has anything to do with high prices at Inland RV 
(other than the price on their trailers)...others have complained 
about prices at Inland, on old parts in particular, in the past.  
It's their stock, and they can charge what they wish, but maybe you 
should check with someone else about lock cylinder costs.  

Certain complete locksets are very expensive because they are being 
manufactured *for* Airstream, as Charlie explained; they probably 
only sell a handful per year, or less; thus the high price.
