Did I miss something about this thread?  Is the deadbolt and the knob latch
in my '69 Safari both prone to fail simultaneously?  The deadbolt seems to
be pretty positive and would be nearly impossible to force back to the open
position through the bolt.

Maybe this will lighten up the thread .  .   .
