Re: [A/S] Interior Paint.

My 64`s kitchen had been repainted at some point with an apple green oil based
(or so it looks ) flat enamel which was 98 percent intact , I intended to paint
it with zolotone ,but after having lived with it for I while I came to like it ,
it matches my minty green stove and fridge (and my boonton melmac dishware , AND
my truck ) .It has that distressed look that designers imitate . It seems to have
held on over the years.
However , a 65 I once had , had been repainted in latex , and it had peeled of
in sheets when I got it . . The trailer didnt seem to leak , but had been outside
winters ,etc . So I`m wary of latex over zolotone .
whatever floats your boat as far as interiors go , I took out my sofa in front
and put in two Plycraft Eames chairs .Eventually I`m going to rip out the right
bunk and make a swoopy curved desk with drawers under ,and make a pull out double
with the other bunk .Will leave lockers overhead.
I mean , cabinetry isnt one of airstreams strong points , even though it might
be better than the SOB`s woodwork . I can do better than that ...just as soon as
i get this barn here built , and , and , and ....!
    This new barn I `m building has a 9'6" door a 10' 4" ceiling so I can jack up
the stream on a heated concrete floor . Just put the front wall up today ,back wall
tommorow. Im all exited !
