Take a look at the Roadmaster, Road Wing, removable mud flap system at 
www.roadmasterinc.com.  I recently acquired one and am well pleased.  
Reasonably easy to install/remove.  A good investment for some who want 
tighten fit them most fixed flaps will give and cover a bigger area then 
most fixed flaps provide.
