I had both of my valves replaced with the OPD.  At the same time I was going
to replace the regulator just for the heck of it.

The gas guy, said my regulator was a $250 model and wondered why I had such
an expensive model for a trailer.  I told him it was off an Airstream.  And
he said that must be why!

Anyway, he was going to replace with a cheap looking $50 model.  I had him
test my old one first.  It tested fine so I kept it and the original copper
tubing to the tanks since they wanted to replace them with rubber hoses.

So, I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it.
