Greg, the brake controller I had that pulsed the trailer brakes when the 
hazard lights were activated was on a 95 GMC.  It was installed by the 
Airstream dealer where I bought my trailer.  My new tow vehicle is a GMC 
2500HD Duramax diesel.

From what I read on Hayes-Lemmerz's web site, the brake pulsing when hazard 
lights are activated is a common problem with some brands of brake 
controllers.
