Hi Joy,

Appreciate all these tips, I do have the light monitor and I think it's pretty 
darned slick!  Anyways I'm going to try to remove the bezel using your 
instructions; I do have an original 73 service manual but it didn't say 
anything about how to remove the bezel or I just couldn't find the info. there.

I use rust to primer on the lamp bases and then repainted them with chrome 
rustoleum to make the tail lights really bright.  I'm not sure but I think the 
tail lights are much brighter with the chrome base, just no running lights now.
