[A/S] Hot and cold water....

I've totally dismantled my kitchen sink and such, and was wondering 
which line is the cold and which is the hot. Does the cold water run 
through the canister filter? Or is it the hot? 

I've never used the water system in this trailer yet, as there were a 
few burst pipes under the sink that I just fixed this morning. What a 
nightmare! 

I used compression fitting on the copper pipes after I cut them back 
before the leaks. One pipe was a 3/8" OD, and the other, which 
measured 1/2" OD was slightly larger. I'm assuming from the pipe 
expansion that caused the burst. Well, try and get the nut over that! 
With a 2" grinding wheel attached to a drill, a file, a wire brush, 
the moves of a contortionist, and some sandpaper... oh, and about 3 
hours and 2 trips to Lowe's, I got the fitting on! Everything is 
working fine except for the little purified water spigot that comes 
off the top of the filter. That is shot and just keeps running. No 
shut off. I may cap that line and do without it, as I can't seem to 
find one of those at the usual home centers. Anyone know where to get 
a new one of those?

Well, I've been rambling... hope to be rambling on the road soon. Any 
thoughts, comments, opinions, expertise, etc., will be greatly 
appreciated.

Oh, by the way. Please accept my apologies for the "Where are you all 
from" post. I didn't realize that was not a good thing to do. I was 
just interested in where everyone was. :(
