Re: [A/S] Levelers
Patti,
I always start the fridge the day before we're going to travel to get
it cold. On a hot day, it'll take nearly all day for it to get down to
operating temperature. It'll hold 'pretty good' for several hours, but
if it's hot, the temperature rises to more than I'm comfortable with. It
will cool down again fairly quickly, however.
Depending on the fridge, there's 2 fans that can help: one mounts in the
"chimney" behind the fridge to boost airflow over the cooling coils, the
other is a little outfit that sits inside the fridge itself to circulate
the air. The old fridge in our A/S could have used that help, as packing
it full of pop and/or beer would block enough airflow that it didn't
cool well.
