[A/S] Levelers
Hello everyone,
Its Barbara from Ohio. We just completed our "maiden voyage" in
our '73 International. We christened our 'stream visiting
Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons with Montana and Nebraska as
bookends. Our 29 International performed well. As we were reading
about Lewis and Clark along the way, we were happy to do so in the
comfort of our Airstream....yes we did see a bear in the Teton RV
park but it was a not a grizzly....I was still happy to have some
metal between us and she....I know I could not go back to a tent now!
This is our first trailor and we had difficulty leveling every night.
People were talking about the Tamarack leveler on the list and
directed me to a website, but I couldn't find the item. I did find
some interesing levelers, some are florescent plastic which look easy
to use, but so did the jacks.....I think it is crucial for the fridge
to be level, am I right? I like the stability of using jacks even if
you are still hitched, but what do people who travel a lot do? Are
there easy jacks that attach to the underside? We have these tripod-
like jacks but you have to crawl under the trailer every time to use
them...What are your thoughts on this important fact of traveling
life.
Barbara
