Tom, it's a simple fix. The Olympic rivets that Greg mentioned are available
from several sources. I got mine from www.airstreamdreams.com as there's no
Airstream dealer in Georgia. The rivets are illustrated on that site. They
work like a regular pop rivet only the stem doesn't pull all the way through
and thus has to be removed. For doing just a few you can clip off the excess
and file the "stub" down to match the contour of the rivet head. Some people
cut off the stem with a Dremel tool. If you were going to do a lot of
riveting than the cost of an aircraft type rivet shaver might be justified.
