I still use the original antenna with great results. (subject to signal
availability). I found however that you had to install a converter,
available at the Shack, on the TV end, so you can screw it onto the back
of the TV. I think it's a 75ohm converter. Looks like a plastic
cigarette with set of wires you attach to the flat lead in wire.
For a while I was getting pretty weak reception. I pulled the anntenna
end of the flat lead out of the little box it plugs into on the inside
wall of the trailer, and found that the flat wire had broken off in the
plug. If you take this apart by loosening the screw in the middle, it
will allow you to put the wires back into the plugs and rescrew the
plastic around the joint. Replugged and voila, ................America's
Most Wanted.
