Re: [A/S] Air Conditioning
Thanks for the info Don. I'm trying to gather
information from other A/S like you so that I can be
armed if the dealer attempts to tell me that nothing
is wrong.
On Sunday 3 P.M. it was 96 and the inside air
temperature was almost 87. My 20 degree drop across
the coils was not going to overcome that outside heat
gain. Consider at 8:00 A.M. we were at 72 degrees
inside and cycling the compressor. At 10 A.M. the
compressor stayed on steady until almost 9 P.M.
I know automobiles use a 40 degree drop standard to
overcome the heat gain from the glass. I would think
that 30 is probably more in line for an RV unit.
Thanks again for your information. It will come in
handy.
