Just picked up my nearly 300 E-mails after being away for 4 days & noticed
your thread etc about the 1978 Safari.

FYI I have a 1977 Safari and we love it!!! It has the orginal, fridge,
furnace, water heater, a/c, toilet and everything works fine. In May we
attended our local WBCCI Rally and discovered that our trailer was owned
previously by not one (which I knew about) but two of the members there.
Many folk there expressed to me that the 23 foot Safari was there favorite
size for towing, etc. You will find too that maNy A/S owners have a large
Airstream & also a smaller one like a Safari for rallies & towing in caravans.

I don't think you will be disappointed with this size unit unless you want
one to live in it full time or 5 or 6 months out of the year.

Check it out & if the price is right ( was it about $7,000. ?) take the
Airstream Plunge!!!!

NOTE I don't remember reading your location. But here in west central PA.
that price would include a very nice unit with some newer upgrades like new
curtains, excellent skin, & working appliances, etc. etc.
