I bought a 20lb tank from Camping World last summer that's got both 
an OPD and a gauge (side by side) and it's aluminum, although painted.

They had 30lb tanks with the same config.I assume that they're from 
Manchester Tank Company.

Unless you've got some beautifully polished aluminum cylinders 
already, I've been told that it's about the same price to buy new w/ 
OPD than to have OPD installed in existing tank and your tanks 
recertified.

The tank I replaced hadn't been inspected since Dec 1947 and it was 
steel (REALLY, REALLY heavy) so I didn't have a second thought before 
buying a new one with OPD and level indicator.
