Hi John. That is the same size tires my 77/31' international has on 
it. I'm not sure how tight it is. I don't have any problem putting 
the tire covers over them. I think there must be at least 4" 
clearance from the tire to any part of the trailer. I need to buy new 
tires this year. Would you mind saying what brand & what you paid for 
yours? I am thinking about changing to radials, be seem to get 
conflicting advice on this. My wheels are only a couple of years old, 
so I know radials will work on the wheels. Hunter got a good deal in 
OR at a Big "O" tires. I will probably be going up there this fall & 
check prices there, at least they don't have sales tax. Every place 
I've checked in the Bay Area, the price has been about $375 for four 
tires installed & tax.
