Re: [A/S] wood floors

It is not necessarly the wood cracking that is the provlem but the seams
between the parquet tiles that creat a provlem weter from moping and spills
will get into the seams and tend to rot the fpoor. When I removed the vinal
asbestes tile from the floor there was a line of minor rot whear each and
eavery seam was. it wea only in the ist layer but none the less it was rot.I
bedded my homemade parquet down in fiber glass matt and epoxy.the 1st trip
the flexing of the trailer caused hair line cracks to develope between the
indivuap peaces of parquet. to over come that provlem i had to crover the
intire floor with 6oz fiber glass cloth and clear epoxy resin. that solved
the provlem as I now have a seamless floor.
I recommend that any one planning to lay down a new floor use sheet goods any
good installer can lay down the floos in 1 peace, If you want to use tile or
parquet I reccomend that you clean off all the old glue with mineral sperates
and coat the floor with saturatering epozy to protect from water damage.
