Hunter, is the Smartire system actually available? There were no retail
outlets indicated on the web site you provided in your mail -- at least that
I found. It looks like an interesting system but I would imagine it's priced
out of the budget of a lot of  occasional use Airstreamers. Do you know what
it costs? What about maintenance of the sensors inside the tires? They would
have to be battery powered (I assume) and it looks like the tire would have
to be dismounted from the wheel periodically to renew the battery. I have
the feeling it will be a long time before I have Smartire installed in my
Tradewind's tires.

Seems to be no end to the toys us big boys can find to
amuse ourselves with. ;-)  Thanks for pointing another one out.
