Re: [A/S] AZ trip

Don Hardman,

The drive North to Flagstaff on I-17 isn't too bad. There is one long grade
N. of Phoenix, just before Sunset Point. I've pulled my '75 31-footer up it
with a Dodge Ram 1500 (5.9L V-8) with little trouble, so you should be OK.
Lots of truckers there, so you'll be slowed down anyway, which will force
you into a lower gear, and that will help.

If you do get hot, it's only a couple of miles to the Sunset Point Rest
Stop, so you can take a break and cool down.

I-40 East from Flagstaff is a nice trip. No mountains of any import until
East of Albuquerque, and even then it's not bad.

I wish I had courtesy parking so we could visit. If you have any kind of
problem or need assistance at all, feel free to call me at (480) 838-1215.

Have a great trip,

Roger
