Tom,
I guess I'm a little more confused because I thought
the GFI is only tied to the outside outlet and the
outlets by the sink.  The entire trailer is tied to a
GFI?  I'm definately going to pour through the books
today.

I'm not using a lightweight extension.  This is a
contractors model that has the same amp rating as the
RV extenstions sold at Walmart.  It just has a
standard plug so I can go into the outlet in the
garage.
