The equalizer hitch is a great invention.  However, I would think 
that Physics would dictate that if the trailer was balanced naturally 
it should ride better and have less chance of sway. Use the spring 
tension hitch to correct problems after attemps to move objects from 
front to back prove fruitless. I know that our 24' 4500# sailboat 
prefers the natural balancing method over hitch adjustment.
