I have never owned a motor home but have owned and extensively used a 34'
A/S since 1994.

I love the 34' A/S for it's comfort, space, convenience, etc. but to be
completely candid, have grown tired of it because of it's extreme length and
weight.  That is only a personal observation and is based on the way I use
the trailer, not because of the trailer itself.

When I bought it I was still working and traveling less and when I did
travel, my wife was always along and she requires at least a 34' trailer to
contain all the things that are "essential" for being away from home.  A
semi-tractor and trailer following would be even better.

After I "retired" I travel more frequently, often with only my female German
shepherd companion, and don't require as much space to carry "stuff."  Also,
when I travel alone I tend to cover more distance and remain in one location
less.  I overnight in truck stops, interstate highway rest stops, city
parks, Wal-Mart parking lots, etc so don't have hookups to operate all the
A/S's comfort and conveniences.

I have found that the 34' trailer is a lot more weight and length than I
need so have decided to put it up for sale.  Moving from a motor home to a
trailer you are probably more accustomed to the size and weight of a 34' A/S
and may find it precisely what you like and require.  They are fine
trailers, it depends on your space and comfort/convenience requirements
whether it is right for you.
